Disney Cruise - Why They Make Such Great Family Adventures!
By Susan Dean
Lately I have been thinking very hard about taking a holiday. Working long hours and trying to fit in a family life is sometimes all too consuming. The kids are getting restless and my wife and I just need a break, plain and simple. Well, a friend of ours suggested a Disney cruise and said that he and his family had recently come back from such a vacation.

They could not stop raving about their trip. They have said that they will consider doing this type of vacation again as it was so much fun for every one of them. The kids had plenty to do while there was so much for the adults to enjoy as well. The perfect family holiday they told us! Now of course this has put the pressure on my wife and I as our kids continually ask us when we can go.

We told the kids that we would look into it and were amazed to find out that there were a variety of cruises that we could take. A Disney cruise can consist of different package deals including three, four and seven night cruises just to start with. You will be happy to know that there are many ports to stop of at and enjoy such as The Bahamas, Key West, St Maarten, St Thomas and many more. Of course if you do not want to explore these places and wish to stay on board then that is fine as there is so much on offer to keep you occupied for a very long time.

than one or perhaps we could watch a movie in one of their cinemas. If just relaxing on deck with a good book is what we feel like doing then we can do that too. We could even take a break in one of the many restaurants and bars while our kids are having loads of fun doing organized activities that the trained Disney staff have organized. Then once the kids are safely tucked up in bed we could organize a sitter and have a great night out at one of the nightclubs. I don't know about you but this idea about a Disney cruise is sounding pretty good to me too.

I think the next thing to do is check out all the different available options and packages and then see what dates suit us. This is important to do as we also have to work out our finances and decide on what we can and cannot afford before going ahead but I do know that there will be a package to suit. We just need to decide on which one.
